A series of still life paintings called "Stilled Resistance"

Three Dunkin’ Donuts coffee packages stand in succession—one full and upright, the second half-empty and beginning to collapse, the third fully crumpled and fallen over. Surrounding each are increasingly aggressive, expressionistic marks that evoke motion, urgency, and exhaustion.

Overworked is a visual response to the relentless grind culture promoted by corporate leaders like Kevin O’Leary and Elon Musk, who demand constant availability from employees and dismiss work-from-home as illegitimate. The progression from fullness to collapse mirrors the depletion of the human spirit under such expectations. This painting critiques the modern workplace where boundaries are blurred, rest is minimized, and productivity is valued over well-being. It’s a portrait of labor as consumption—of people being used up like the product they rely on to get through the day.
