Francisco Silva is a contemporary painter whose work explores social and political tensions through the lens of everyday objects and environments.

Based in Frenchtown, New Jersey, Silva creates studio paintings that reflect on class, justice, and the quiet forces shaping American life. His current series uses familiar domestic items and constructed spaces to examine civil liberties, economic inequality, and institutional power.

Silva also maintains an observational painting practice, including landscape and figure studies that inform his larger thematic work. He is a member of The Outliers, a group of four painters exhibiting at Art150 in Jersey City, and regularly shows work throughout New Jersey.
